This drill gives you the first sentence, already correct. You say it, then continue it yourself — with because or but — before the timer runs out. The base sentence is the model; the ending is yours.

What you are training:
After because: a subject, then a verb, immediately — not the reason as a bare phrase, and not the verb before its subject. After but: a real contrast — a fact that actually opposes the first sentence, not one that just sits next to it.
